Terms & Conditions
These Terms & Conditions apply to all services, bookings, consultations, communications, recommendations, digital materials, and related interactions with Black & Blanc Balanced. By purchasing, booking, or otherwise engaging with Black & Blanc Balanced, the client acknowledges and agrees to the terms below.
1. Nature of Services
Black & Blanc Balanced provides luxury online interior curation and design direction. Services are consultative and advisory in nature. Black & Blanc Balanced is not acting as a licensed architect, contractor, engineer, installer, mover, or construction manager, and does not provide structural, code, safety, or permit-related services.
2. Service Model
Services are delivered virtually unless otherwise stated in writing. Recommendations may include layout direction, style direction, scale and proportion guidance, color and contrast guidance, suggested categories of furnishings or decor, and curated aesthetic direction. Unless expressly included in a specific package, services do not include procurement management, contractor coordination, on-site installation, trade supervision, or done-for-you execution.
3. Booking and Payment
All services are prepaid in full. Payment is required before a booking is confirmed or time is reserved. No work begins until payment is received. Prices, package names, and service details may be updated from time to time at the discretion of Black & Blanc Balanced.
4. No-Refund Policy
Due to the creative, time-based, and personalized nature of these services, all payments are final and
non-refundable. Once a consultation, package, or design block is purchased, time is reserved specifically for that client and cannot be recovered.
5. Scheduling, Rescheduling, and Late Arrival
Clients are responsible for attending sessions at the scheduled time. One reasonable reschedule may be permitted with advance notice. Missed sessions, no-shows, or late arrivals that materially reduce the session window may be treated as completed or shortened at the discretion of Black & Blanc Balanced.
6. Scope of Work
Each service is limited to the scope, room count, and time allocation associated with the selected package. Questions, revisions, sourcing requests, additional rooms, additional concepts, or expanded needs outside that scope require a separate booking, follow-up session, or upgraded package.
7. Design Recommendations and Subjective Nature of Design
Interior design and curation are inherently subjective. Black & Blanc Balanced provides professional aesthetic judgment and refined direction, but does not guarantee that the client will agree with every recommendation or that the final result will match the client's expectations if implementation differs from the guidance provided.
8. Client Responsibilities
Clients are responsible for providing complete and accurate information, including photographs, measurements, inspiration, existing conditions, budget sensitivity, and any relevant limitations of the space. Black & Blanc Balanced is not responsible for errors, disappointments, or delays resulting from incomplete, inaccurate, or outdated client-provided information.
9. Purchasing and Implementation
Unless specifically stated otherwise in writing, clients remain solely responsible for final purchasing decisions, vendor selections, measurements verification, contractor engagement, installation, assembly, execution, and final implementation. Black & Blanc Balanced is not liable for shipping issues, product quality, vendor errors, dye-lot variations, inventory changes, damages, installation mistakes, or site-specific execution issues.
10. Product Suggestions and Sourcing
Any suggested items, categories, or product references are offered as design guidance only. Availability, pricing, dimensions, finishes, lead times, shipping methods, and vendor policies may change without notice. Clients should verify all relevant product details before purchase.
11. Communication Boundaries
Professional and respectful communication is required. Black & Blanc Balanced reserves the right to refuse, pause, or discontinue services in response to abusive, inappropriate, harassing, or unreasonable conduct. In such situations, prepaid fees remain non-refundable to the extent permitted by law.
12. Intellectual Property
All design concepts, written recommendations, curation frameworks, visual direction, digital deliverables, and branded materials remain the intellectual property of Black & Blanc Balanced unless otherwise stated in writing. They may not be copied, resold, distributed, shared for commercial use, or reproduced as a product or service without express written permission.
13. Portfolio and Marketing Use
Black & Blanc Balanced may photograph, reference, or describe completed or in-process design work for portfolio, editorial, website, social, or marketing purposes unless a written confidentiality arrangement has been agreed in advance.
14. Disclaimer of Warranties
Services are provided on an advisory basis and are offered as-is. Black & Blanc Balanced makes no warranty, express or implied, regarding product performance, implementation outcome, vendor fulfillment, or the client's satisfaction with independently executed recommendations.
15. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Black & Blanc Balanced shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, punitive, or exemplary damages, including but not limited to dissatisfaction, lost opportunities, construction costs, furniture damage, delivery issues, installation errors, or any third-party losses arising from the use or implementation of design recommendations.
16. Maximum Liability
If liability is imposed despite the foregoing limitations, the maximum aggregate liability of Black & Blanc Balanced shall not exceed the amount actually paid by the client for the specific service giving rise to the claim.
17. Updates to Terms
Black & Blanc Balanced may revise these Terms & Conditions from time to time. The version in effect at the time of booking or purchase will apply to that transaction unless otherwise stated.
